Welcome to Toronto!

Toronto Skyline

Toronto is a world class destination, famous for its diversity in people, attractions, food and shopping. The Greater Toronto Area (the GTA) has a population of over 3 million people and continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in North America.

The newly renovated Sheraton Parkway Hotel, is conveniently located next to one of Toronto's busiest freeways (the 404) and is a straight run downtown. It is located close to all the major freeways in the city including the 401 and the 407 highways.

If you don't have a car, don't worry, there is a regional transit stop right outside the front door of the hotel. It is a quick ride on the bus to connect with the subway which in turn will link you to all of the major attractions and shopping.

However, you don't have to go downtown to experience the best of what Toronto has to offer. Some of the city's greatest dining and shopping is a short distance from the hotel including some of the best Chinese restaurants in the world. Also nearby is the Pacific Mall which is the largest Asian shopping mall in the world.

Let's take a look at what's within walking distance of the hotel. First, if you enjoy your coffee in the morning you can get Starbucks right in the lobby or Tim Hortons at the end of the hotel's parking lot. If you are hankering for an Egg McMuffin there is a McDonalds about 5 minutes walk from the front lobby.

Just across the street are a number of other restaurants including Baton Rouge, Boston Pizza, Alice Frazooli's Italian Grill, Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine, Host Fine Indian Cuisine, Chili Secret and Fox and Fiddle Pub.

Shopping within walking distance includes the Shops of the Parkway which is attached to the hotel and Times Square which is right across the street.

Just a short distance away by bus or car are Markham Square (food and shopping), a Liquor Store, Chapters Bookstore, The Pacific Mall, Fairview Mall and Yorkdale Mall.

This section will be updated on a regular basis with additional restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Top Rated Restaurants
One of the best things about Toronto is its diversity. Canada is truly a nation of immigrants and it is most obvious in our plethora of top rated restaurants. No one cuisine defines Toronto you will find excellent restaurants here featuring French, Chinese, Greek, Italian and yes, even Canadian. While most of our top rated restaurants tend to be higher priced, you will find some excellent bargains here as well.
