Toronto is a world class destination, famous for its diversity in people, attractions, food and shopping. The Greater Toronto Area (the GTA) has a population of over 3 million people and continues to be one of the fastest growing cities in North America.

The newly renovated Sheraton Parkway Hotel, is conveniently located next to one of Toronto's busiest freeways (the 404) and is a straight run downtown. It is located close to all the major freeways in the city including the 401 and the 407 highways.

If you don't have a car, don't worry, there is a regional transit stop right outside the front door of the hotel. It is a quick ride on the bus to connect with the subway which in turn will link you to all of the major attractions and shopping.

Let's take a look at what's within walking distance of the hotel. First, if you enjoy your coffee in the morning you can get Starbucks right in the lobby or Tim Hortons at the end of the hotel's parking lot. If you are hankering for an Egg McMuffin there is a McDonalds about 5 minutes walk from the front lobby.

Just across the street are a number of other restaurants including Baton Rouge, Boston Pizza, Alice Frazooli's Italian Grill, Dragon Boat Fusion Cuisine, Host Fine Indian Cuisine, Chili Secret and Fox and Fiddle Pub.

Shopping within walking distance includes the Shops of the Parkway which is attached to the hotel and Times Square which is right across the street.

Just a short distance away by bus or car are Markham Square (food and shopping), a Liquor Store, Chapters Bookstore, The Pacific Mall, Fairview Mall and Yorkdale Mall.

Top Attractions
Nearby attractions include Canada's Wonderland Theme Park—which features a special Halloween Weekend, the McMichael Art Collection, the Ontario Science Centre and the Toronto Zoo. Further afield are such attractions as the Art Gallery of Ontario, the CN Tower and the Hockey Hall of Fame.
